Core Catcher is a uniquely designed cup and removable mesh sieve device for collecting and rinsing needle or other biopsy specimens. The peel off mesh allows easy transfer of specimen into a specimen jar. Core Catcher allows excess blood to be rinsed off the specimen which can lead to quick and accurate assessment of tissue adequacy during needle biopsy procedures.
